Borski's Bonefish slider is tied on the Tiemco 811S hook in size 4 or 6, and features a monofilament weedguard to help keep the fly weed free when fishing in grassy areas. The #4 fly is approximately 2 3/4" long; the #6 fly is approx. 2 1/4" long. This pattern also makes an excellent imitation of a mummichog or killifish, and is a useful pattern when fishing estuaries for striped bass, weakfish, or sea run brown trout.
