Start the Epoxy Minnow by tying in the various bucktail colors and flash for the tail/wing of the fly. Lash the butt ends of the bucktail down all the way to just behind the hook eye to provide for a slim underbody. Coat the body with the Pearl color of E-Z Shape Sparkle Body, then lay a bead of the Fluorescent Chartreuse 'Sparkle Body down the back, followed by a topcoat of E-Z Shape Sparkle Body Olive to match the chartreuse and olive dorsal coloration of the wing. Let dry.

I like to let the fly dry for two or more days, then I add #2 (1/8") reflective adhesive eyes, and overcoat the entire fly with a high quality epoxy.

It's possible to add other nice touches to this fly, such as a reflective stripe, or a patterned look made with E-Z Shape Sparkle Body - here are a couple other versions that we have tied over the years:

Mini Mackerel
Chartreuse with reflective stripe
Chartreuse with green stripe
Gold with reflective stripe
