This saltwater streamer has stood the test of time, and this is the pattern to use as an all-around baitfish imitation. A true standard - this fly can be used in a variety of situations worldwide. We've had these tied on the extra strong "Trey Combs" / SL12 hooks - perfect for really tough fish.

Our Deceiver Classics are tied on the Trey Combs Big Game saltwater fly hooks (Gamakatsu SL 12). This #2/0 Deceiver is approximately 3 1/2 inches long (9 cm). We have a limited quantity of these beautiful deceivers tied on circle hooks. We commissioned our tier Blake Davis to tie these with some really top grade hackles that we managed to lay hands on, and these are some of the best made deceivers we have seen - just perfect in our opinion. In a subtle Chartreuse/Olive/White color pattern that has produced some fabulous catches for us over the years. A nice chartreuse reflective eye and epoxy head add the finishing touches to this fine fly.
