Gotcha!
The Gotcha may be the top producing bonefish pattern ever developed, and this
bright pearlescent fly gets the attention of bonefish all over the globe.
Useful in a wide range of conditions, and available in a range of sizes. We now
offer several variations on this popular bonefish fly, including a "Lead Eye" Gotcha for deeper water, the "Blind Gotcha" (tied without eyes for very shallow water situations), and a version with a weedguard for fishing flats with snags or
weeds. The "Gotcha Special" is the same fly as pictured above in three different color variations (see photo below).
The "Gold Eye" Gotcha is a very pretty fly made with round gold-colored eyes - they look like gold bead chain, but
they eyes are made from machined brass, slightly heavier than bead chain eyes.
The Bunny Gotcha is a modern variation of this fly which features lead eyes for weight and a rabbit fur wing for
maximum action in the water. See also the "Rubber Legs" Gotcha style shown below.

The "Rubber Legs" Gotcha is a new version of the classic Gotcha style
- sometimes referred to as the "Sili Charlie". Silicone "rubber legs" add dynamic
movement to this most productive pattern.

The #4 Gotcha measures approximately 1 1/2 inches long (3.9 cm); the #4 Bunny Gotcha measures
approximately 2 1/2 inches (6.3 cm) long. The Rubber Legs Gotcha #4 is approx. 2 inches (5 cm) long;
the Rubber Legs Gotcha #6 is approx. 1 5/8 inches (4 cm) long.
Note: We are now having as many of these as possible tied in the United States
by custom fly tiers, hence the slightly higher price for some types and sizes. Similar patterns: Bonefish Scampi, Chrismas Island Special.
